Champions League: Liverpool, Manchester City in the semifinals

Unfortunately, Atletico Madrid could not score a goal at home.  Couldn't take Manchester City to extra time fight.  The two teams drew goalless today at Wanda Metropolitano.

Manchester City advanced to the semi-finals of the Champions League with a 1-0 lead in the combined result of the two legs.

Meanwhile, Portuguese club Benfica came to Liverpool's field Anfield with three goals.  In fact, with three goals, Digest also scored three goals.  After a 3-3 draw, Benfica was of no use.

Liverpool won the first leg 3-1.  As a result, Liverpool advanced to the semi-finals of the Champions League with a combined lead of 6-4.  In the beginning, Liverpool went ahead with the goal of Ibrahima Konat.  Benfica equalized with a goal from Goncalo Ramos.  Liverpool then took a 3-1 lead with a pair of goals from Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino.

Benfica equalized with two goals from Ukraine striker Roman Yaremchuk and Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez.  Even though there was equality in the match, the team could not bring equality in two legs.  And that is exactly what happened to Benfica.

This confirmed that the world will see a kind of fight between Spain and England in the semi-finals of the Champions League this time.  The two Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Villarreal rose in the semis yesterday, today the two English clubs Liverpool and Manchester City rose.  In the semi-finals, Liverpool will play against Villarreal, Real Madrid will play against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
