Salah wants Real Madrid in the final

 

Remember the 2018 Champions League final?  Liverpool and Real Madrid faced off in the title fight in Kiev, Ukraine.  Within half an hour of the match, Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah had to leave the field due to injury of Real captain Sergio Ramos.

Karim Benzema's goal then put Real ahead, but Sadio also equalized for Liverpool.  But at the end of the match, Lodge Blancos took the championship crown with a pair of goals from Gareth Bale.

The following year, Liverpool won the Champions League with Tottenham Hotspur in the final.  But the revenge against Real Madrid was not taken.  This time Salah & Co. stood in front of the golden opportunity to avenge the incident.

Real Madrid will advance to the final if they can perform a miracle against Man City in the semi-final today.  And Liverpool star Mohamed Salah Kayomonobakya wants Real Madrid to reach the final anyway.  He wants to play the final against Real.

"I want to play in the final against Madrid," said Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian star of Liverpool, after losing to Villarreal to secure the Champions League final.

However, there is no question of revenge in Salah's mind. According to him, Real Madrid could be an easier opponent for them than Man City in the final.  That's why he wants Madrid.  "Honestly, Man City are a tough opponent," Salah said.  It will be difficult to win against them and become the champion.  I have faced them several times this season.  If you ask me personally, I will say, I want Madrid.

Soon after, it dawned on Salah that he would lose in the 2016 final.  "We lost to them once in the final," he said.  I hope I can win this time face to face.
